First Night Hartford is our capital city's family friendly New Year's Eve tradition to be held in historic Bushnell Park in Downtown Hartford on Tuesday, December 31, from 2 pm to midnight!
This full day of art, music, food & community includes two spectacular fireworks shows in Bushnell Park at 6 pm and midnight viewed throughout the city by thousands of residents and visitors. Enjoy multicultural performances, kids' activities, carousel rides, ice skating and other fun in Bushnell Park along with interactive events, comedy & music at our partner venues around Downtown. Main stage entertainment, fireworks, and Winterfest ice skating in Bushnell Park are free for all to attend; indoor activities require the purchase of an all-access button
From 2-6 pm, families can pop in to varied First Night Hartford venues to create fun musical art projects led by Night Fall Artistic Collaborators for kids and adults to take part in the People's Parade on the way to the traditional 6 pm New Year's Eve fireworks display in Bushnell Park with a view from around the city.
