Camp North Star is a premier sleepaway camp in Maine for boys and girls, ages 7 - 17. We offer campers the many benefits of a traditional, residential camp, plus the personal attention of a caring, highly trained staff dedicated to nurturing healthy youth development. We work diligently to make Camp North Star a supportive community where children make lasting friends, build strong relationships with positive role models, connect with nature, explore new interests, pursue favorite activities, and practice 21st century skills that help them succeed in school and life. Campers love that our elective program allows them to create individual weekly schedules from an exciting array of arts, athletics, enrichment, outdoors, and waterfront activities! The foundation of our camp is built on a sense of family, community, and inclusivity led by our Camp Directors and Camp Owners, Steven and Brooke Bernstein. Campers think of Camp North Star as their summer famiily and summer home.
