BTC PRESENTS CINDERELLA’S BALLET BRUNCH
On Sunday, April 23 from 11:00am - 2:00pm Ballet Theatre Company (BTC) will present its spring
fundraiser, Cinderella’s Ballet Brunch at Warehouse 635 located at 635 New Park Ave #2F West
Hartford, CT 06110.
The brunch will be a charming day filled with crafts, breakfast goodies, a silent auction and
opportunities for children to meet and greet and take photos with characters from the ballet such as
Cinderella and her Prince. In fact, children will get to choose what character they would like to sit with
during the Brunch! Will you choose to dine with the Evil Stepsisters? Or perhaps with the Fairy
Godmother?
The Ballet Brunch will directly support BTC’s sensory-friendly performance of Cinderella at The
Bushnell. BTC’s Sensory-friendly performance provides a safe, judgment-free environment for those
with sensory or any other types of challenges that may make them feel uncomfortable at a “typical”
public show. At the sensory-friendly ballet, the music and on-stage sounds are lowered, low-level
lighting is maintained for the audience, and adjustments to the production are made to ensure
everyone’s comfort.
Here is some feedback from BTC’s first Sensory-Friendly Ballet that motivates us to keep offering this
show; it made us smile, and it will make you smile, too.

being there. I have never felt comfortable having them attend "regular" performances. …having the
staff there to help, the dimmed lights, softer music, and a very understanding audience were huge

Please note that there are a limited number of tickets for Cinderella’s Ballet Brunch so don’t wait to
purchase. Online sales only which end on April 14, 2023.
Adults who wish to eat at the event must purchase an "Adult Ticket" for $10. One adult is required to
attend per child, but no more than one adult per child in attendance. For any questions please contact
