What is PARC?

A program of Lutheran Social Services,
serving children & families
for over 140 years. 

The LSS Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC) offers an array of counseling and programs geared to the unique joys and challenges of adoption and adoptive family life.  Visit our website for more information and to sign up for our programs: www.adoptlss.org

Understanding that adoption is a life-long journey,
PARC serves families and children of all faiths and backgrounds,
from infancy through adulthood.  

PARC services include:

• Counseling and consultation
• Educational programs for parents and children
• Peer support for adopted children and teens
• Adoptee mentorship programs
• Cultural programs and events
• Recreational events for all whose lives are touched by adoption.  

PARC staff, many of whom are adoptive parents and adoptees themselves are recognized for their expertise in providing training and consultation on adoption-related issues to: Schools, Pediatricians, Mental Health Professionals and other Community Providers.
